“We are currently working to share the new event vision with the industry and will continue to schedule open events for members to see the event outline,” Hugelmeyer says. “One of the biggest questions is regarding the event location and dates, and our staff is currently investigating options that will be reviewed with RVIA's Tradeshow and Events Committee soon.

“In addition to speaking to our members, we have also reached out to key stakeholders and our partners in the dealer community. We've had a series of meetings with individual companies and dealer groups, and I will be presenting our vision to the RVDA board in March.”

The RVIA's Tradeshow and Events Committee also is creating an advisory group that will include dealers and other industry partners to help shape and direct the new industry platform, Hugelmeyer says.

“Please stay tuned for additional information from RVIA as we will be moving quickly to build an event that propels the entire RV industry forward, sets a path for our future, and celebrates the achievements of our $50 billion RV industry.”

RVIA members wishing to attend should RSVP to Beverly Whitley at
