RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Michigan Camper and RV Show Set to Open March 1

151750728151310.pngThe Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds is set to open its Battle Creek Camper and RV Show at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Cree on March 1. Set to run through March 4, the show will display more than 50 units and 15 brands of folding campers, motorhomes, toy haulers, travel trailers and fifth wheels.

In addition to dealers offering RVs, parts and accessories, other features of the show include on-site RV rentals and financing, manufacturer rebates and show pricing.

Show hours are scheduled to be weekdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
