Aries Unveils Power Running Boards for Towing Vehicles

Thu Feb 22, 2018

151941352427940.jpgAries, a CURT Group brand, introduces ActionTrac, powered running boards for RV towing vehicles like trucks and jeeps.

The running boards feature a step-within-a-step design and sensors that deploy an extra step up to 15 inches below the doorsill to provide two-step entry and exit. When the vehicle door closes, the power step retracts to a concealed position for a contoured look. The sensors also detect any obstructions to avoid damage or pinch hazards. The running boards also offer a non-skid stepping surface.

ActionTrac running boards are constructed from powder-coated aluminum, making them durable, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. The motors within the steps are water-resistant and the wiring harnesses are waterproof, which keeps the power step dry in wet or muddy conditions.
