One of those is in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where it says it will operate with more than 55 employees, both full-time and part-time. The Greensburg Gander Outdoors reopened in April at Greensburg Commerce Park, 1040 Towne Square Drive. It is unclear whether the Greensburg Gander RV Sales will open at the same location.

Another location in Chesterfield, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, has also been announced. Camping World already owns and operates a Gander Mountain store at the 18491 Outlet Boulevard location--St. Louis Premium Outlets--but plans to add RV sales there. The 66,000-square-foot store reopened under the new ownership earlier this year.

The company says is has made “significant” investments in technology and infrastructure at the Gander Outdoors stores and has laid the groundwork for the planned launch of up to 40 Gander RV Sales locations over the next 15 months.

Other Gander RV Sales stores announced Thursday include:

Colorado: Parker.

Florida: Ocala, Pensacola.

Georgia: Augusta.

Illinois: Marion, Springfield.

Indiana: Greenfield.

Kentucky: Bowling Green, Paducah.

Missouri: Chesterfield.

Minnesota: Forest Lake, Lakeville, Hermantown, Baxter.

North Carolina: Mooresville, Fayetteville, Gastonia.

Ohio: Huber Heights.

Pennsylvania: York, Greensburg.

Tennessee: Jackson.

Texas: Amarillo, Spring, Tyler, Ft. Worth.

Virginia: Roanoke, Cicero.

Wisconsin: Madison, Wausau, Franklin, Green Bay, Onalaska, Eau Claire, Baraboo, Franklin.

Additionally, the company is currently working on and expects to open new RV sales locations in: Belleville, Michigan, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Wichita, Kansas, Boynton Beach, Florida, Fort Pierce, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, Denton, Texas, Rockford, Illinois, and Franklin, Wisconsin.

“We have always viewed Gander Outdoors as the most cost-effective method to increase our RV sales presence and grow our Good Sam Club, particularly in key RV markets where we are underpenetrated,” says Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO. “It is not by coincidence that the Gander Outdoors locations selected are in key markets with a very strong RV registration base and areas that we have been targeting for growth.”

Camping World currently owns and operates 133 RV dealerships nationwide. In 2017, the company acquired the assets of Gander Mountain in bankruptcy proceedings and announced its intention to reopen 69 stores, including the ones in Greensburg and Johnstown, as Gander Outdoors.

The above listed locations along with the continued aggressive pursuit of opportunistic acquisitions is expected to grow the company’s RV Sales locations by more than 30 percent by the end of 2019.
