“Over the past 40 years, Russ Dean RV has established itself as a successful and well-known RV dealership in the state of Washington,” says Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World Holdings. “We are pleased to announce this acquisition and look forward to the continued expansion of our market share throughout the Pacific Northwest.”

Just this spring, Russ Dean RV held a grand opening of a new indoor showroom. The new 27,000-square-foot building includes room for the service, parts and sales departments and an indoor showroom big enough to accommodate four 40-foot RVs.

The new facility, just off Interstate 182, features 700 pieces of inventory, compared to 250 at its old location, according to an article by Tri Cities Business News.

Camping World recently announced the planned expansion of its RV sales locations by more than 30 percent through the launch of Gander RV Sales, new store openings, and continued acquisitions. The acquisition of Russ Dean RV is in line with the Company’s future growth plans.

Camping World currently operates three Washington locations in Burlington, Spokane, and Fife, with services ranging from RV sales, service and retail accessories. With the acquisition of Russ Dean RV, the company will increase its Washington presence to four stores.

“Our goal with this acquisition is to continue adding quality manufacturers and brands, increase our presence in the market and expand the distribution of our Good Sam portfolio of products and services,” says Brent Moody, COO of Camping World. “We continue to successfully execute our expansion strategy and we believe adding Russ Dean RV to our dealership network will strengthen our position in the Pacific Northwest region.”
