RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Forest River a Bronze Partner for 2018 RV Dealers Convention/Expo

Forest River is returning as a Bronze Partner for the 2018 RV Dealers Convention/Expo. The convention/expo will take place Nov. 5 through 9, 2018, at Paris Las Vegas. The convention is sponsored by RVDA, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

“Our convention partners are the key to producing a world-class education event that serves to improve the level of performance in dealerships all across North America,” says convention chairman Chris Andro of Hemlock Hill RV in Southington, Connecticut. “Dealers are fortunate to have strong educational support from key industry leaders like Forest River. Their commitment to affordable education for dealers makes all of our jobs easier, and we all benefit from their contributions and continued support.”

The RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide a variety of workshops and networking events that will aid dealers in building on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel. In addition, each year the committee focuses on having new presenters, like Gabrielle Bosché and Marcus Sheridan, to keep the content relevant and fresh for dealers.
