After severe weather last week that flooded the grounds at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, the Midwest RV Super Show was rescheduled for Aug. 16 through 19. The event, hosted by the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association-Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council (IMHA-RVIC), was originally slated to run Aug. 9 through 12.

The show opened after relief from the rain and the use of excavators, diesel pumps, tractors and Bobcats to dry out the show grounds earlier last week. Attendees arrived to pleasant weekend weather and were able to see both 2018 units and new 2019 travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and motorhomes of all sizes.

"The show is a great place for buyers to compare features, floorplans and RV types from a wide variety of manufacturers," organizers say. "With so many dealers all in one place it’s also a great place for buyers to negotiate their best price."

Many of the RVs were priced at 20 percent to 25 percent below MSRP.

The Hall of Fame offers a convenient location for regional attendees and easy access to the show for travelers. It also offers a unique venue in that it hosts a large collection of antique RVs for visitors to enjoy.
