RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

REMINDER: Voting for 2019 RVIA Board Of Directors Ends Aug. 31

Votes have been coming in since Aug. 1 and tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET is the cut-off for votes to be tallied. That's the deadline for member companies to cast their votes electronically for the seven seats in this year’s election.

Twelve candidates are running including: two supplier representatives, six manufacturer representatives, and four at-large representatives. To review each candidate running for a seat, click HERE.

Official reps were contacted via email on Aug. 1 with directions on how to submit their ballots.

One vote per member company is permitted and official reps have until 5 p.m. ET Aug. 31 to cast a vote.
