The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Jayco introduced the new Precept Prestige Class A product line this week at America’s largest RV show in Hershey, Pa.
The Precept Prestige offers a special living area, with 84-inch padded vinyl ceiling and recessed, high intensity LED lights, large frameless windows and day/night roller shades. The Prestige line is packed with high-end amenities such as solid surface kitchen countertops with integrated stainless sinks and the Jayco-exclusive easy-operation legless dinette table.
The Precept Prestige features a large open living space, making for easy movement throughout the coach. The master bath offers a full surround, glass door shower with skylight and overhead light. The spacious master bedroom features a king bed standard, reading lights and inventive storage spaces. A power drop down overhead bunk is an option across the line and offers the industry’s highest weight capacity at 750 pounds.
Lockable pass-through storage compartments with slam latches are large enough to hold full-size bicycles and camping gear. The exterior entertainment center features an LED TV mounted on a swivel bracket and a single-disc DVD/FM radio tied to Bluetooth.
The Precept Prestige also has a 120-inch panoramic windshield. There are three floor plans.
