RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVIA’s “40 Under 40” Award Nominations Open

153667725844813.pngThe nomination process is open for the RV Industry Association’s second annual “40 Under 40” Awards, which identifies current and future leaders in the RV Industry who are under 40.

The RVIA developed the program in 2017 to honor those who exemplify leadership at their company and inspire others to help grow the industry.

Candidates for the “40 Under 40” Awards must be under the age of 40 prior to Dec. 31, 2018 and be currently employed by a RV Industry manufacturer, dealer, supplier, campground, media company or other industry member. Candidates can be anyone within the industry, at any level of the organization, and do not need to be in a management position within their company.

Selected finalists will be announced prior to RVX: The RV Experience. A nomination should include a short bio and demonstration of how the candidate shows commitment to the RV Industry and leadership potential in his or her organization. Self-nominations are accepted.
