The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Arterra Distribution, the RV division of the WFCO group, has recently hired Todd Vice to be the new aftermarket sales manager at the company’s Elkhart Indiana-based headquarters.
Vice’s focus will be on continuing to develop relationships with new and existing distributors, as well as focusing on dealer training and programs.
“We are delighted to add Todd to the Arterra sales team,” says Rich Dotson, president of Arterra Distribution. “His extensive experience in the RV aftermarket and proven track record of success in sales partners well with our team as we respond to growth within and outside of the RV industry.”
Vice is well-known in the RV industry, with more than 16 years of experience. He has worked with Carefree of Colorado and most recently as an RV and marine sales manager at Walex Products. Arterra Distribution is the RV division of the WFCO Group, and is a family-owned company that has been providing quality power products for more than 40 years.
