RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Northwood Manufacturing Produces 50,000th Towable

Northwood Mfg. produced its 50,000th unit and sent it to Guaranty RV based in Junction City Oregon.

Northwood Mfg CEO Craig Orton, CFO Cerise Smallwood, Chief Sales Officer Donald Cochran and DSM Jim Baehmann delivered presented the unit to Guaranty RV Sales Managers Paul Willman and Lenny Mellin in Junction City Oregon.

"Fifty-thousand RVs is an incredible accomplishment for us all, Orton says. You both, (Willman and Mellin) and Guaranty RV have been a significant part of that success. On behalf of everyone at Northwood, including the Nash family, we want to express our gratitude to the Guaranty RV organization. Guaranty has been a constant and first rate, dealer partner as well as being our good friends."

In accepting, Willman said, "We have come so far together over these many years. We really value the history, the relationship and Northwood's ongoing commitment to supply us with superior, quality products and service.
