RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

P&H Group’s Hesser Passes

154350637657329.jpgKen Hesser, president and co-founder of the P&H Group (formerly Pettes & Hesser) insurance firm, passed away on November 24. Hesser spent more than 40 years in the RV and automotive industries, including 16 years of direct dealership experience in sales and management. He also served as an F&I specialist and trainer for Universal Underwriters/Zurich and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. The P&H Group has worked with RV dealers for more than 25 years.

Services will be held in Hesser’s honor Saturday, December 1 at 3 p.m. at Messinger Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. in Scottsdale, Ariz. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Hesser’s name to Shoebox Ministries, 7902 E. Wood Drive, Scottsdale, Ariz. 85260.
