The package is designed to protect public lands and waterways and provide reforms to enhance outdoor recreation experiences.

Bills that are part of the package include H.R.6510/S.3172 (Restore Our Parks and Public Lands Act) that addresses the maintenance backlog, H.R.3400/S.1633 (Recreation Not Red Tape Act) that proposes means of identifying and managing significant outdoor recreation areas and H.R.6759/S.569 (Land and Water Conservation Authorization and Funding Act) that restores a 50-year conservation fund that expired on September 30. The package is already the subject of lobbying by the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable.

RVIA members interested in participating in the advocacy effort are requested to fill out an advocacy form available on the RVIA web site.
