RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

MARVAC Announces 2019 Show Schedule

151750728151310.pngMichigan RV and Campgrounds (MARVAC) announces its 2019 RV show schedule.

First up is the 53rd Annual RV & Camping Show Feb. 6-10 at the Suburban Connection Showplace in Novi, Mich. The show will feature more than 350 RVs, including folding camping trailers, motorhomes, travel trailers, toy haulers and fifth wheel travel trailers ranging in price from $6,995 to more than $400,000. In addition will be exhibitors featuring parts and accessories, campground information, on-site RV financing and RV rentals. There will also be educational seminars open to the show attendees.

The 32nd Battle Creek RV & Camping Show will take place Feb. 28-March 3 at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Mich.

The 24th Port Huron RV & Camping Show is planned for March 7-10 at the Blue Water Convention Center in Port Huron, Mich.

The 42nd Annual Flint RV & Camping Show will occur March 14-17 at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center in Flint, Mich.

The 27th Annual Northwest Michigan RV & Camping Show will be held March 22-24 at the
Grand Traverse County Civic Center in Traverse City, Mich.

The 30th Annual Fall Detroit RV & Camping Show will happen October 2-6 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich.
