“The dealers we work with know that in order to retain their professional staff, they need to provide ongoing training each year,” Sobel University President Randy Sobel says. “While winter enrollment has increased, this is a trend we saw throughout 2018.”

With the increase, Sobel University prepared additional trainers to make the student-to-trainer ratio more productive for these and future classes.

“Dealerships that we have been training with for years continue to rotate salespeople through each year,” Sobel says. “It’s important to these dealers that their sales staff has the most current tools to help today’s consumers.”

In addition to increasing support staff to these classes, Sobel University has partnered with area hotels to accommodate the rise in attendance.

“We have room blocks reserved with our partner hotels, but these fill quickly,” Course Administrator Kyla Carter says. “Dealerships enrolling for upcoming courses should reach out to us early to reserve seats and hotel rooms as space is limited.”

Upcoming meetings of the Comprehensive Sales course include three sessions in Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 7-11, Feb. 25-Mar. 1 and Mar. 25-29, with additional sessions later in 2019.
