RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Dish Outdoors to Host NTP-STAG Show Event

154644719574076.pngNTP-STAG announces that new sponsor, Dish Outdoors, will host an RV University breakfast at NTP-STAG’s 2019 EXPO in Nashville. Attendees are invited to the Presidential Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 7:30 a.m.

During the breakfast, Dish SVP of Sales Amir Ahmed will deliver an educational keynote where guests will learn about the size of the satellite subscription services market, the sales opportunities available to them and how effective DISH’s program is at capturing incremental, add-on sales at RV dealerships. Ahmed will also unveil exclusive offers that will change the way RV dealers think about selling satellite, receivers and subscription services.

“The linkage between RVers and their need to stay connected to the entertainment options they experience at home is undeniable,” Ahmed says. “Our presentation during breakfast will illustrate how easy it is to engage customers with our services and sell them. We will also be describing the benefits of our national advertising campaign as a driver for new business and provide a glimpse of the sales tools that EXPO attendees will be able to see in our booth during the show.”
