The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVIA announces that more than 400 RVs have been submitted by manufacturers to appear in the The Reveal, the product-launch expo planned for the RVX show on March 12 in Salt Lake City. The Reveal, presented by DISH Network, is a completely re-imagined opening session that will unveil the industry’s best new products, streamed online to thousands of consumers through Go RVing’s marketing platforms and digital channels.
RV manufacturers submitted products into nine lifestyle categories designed to reach and excite individual consumer segments in a more personalized way, just as they are planning their spring and summer vacations. The consumer-focused judging panel will evaluate and determine the top entries to represent each category. The categories are Family Friendly RVs, Outdoor Adventurer, Van Life, City Escape, Destination Camping, Team Tailgate, Sustainability, Luxury Living and On the Horizon.
During The Reveal, attendees will get a first look at the newest and never-before-seen RV products that will drive sales in dealerships across the country, while discovering ways to reach a new generation of consumers and sell them products designed to fit their lifestyle.
