RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Airstream Launches Unit Care Mobile App

154687759193456.jpgAirstream Inc. rolls out Airstream Care, a mobile app that provides a central dashboard for tracking service, maintenance, inspections, registration and other information about Airstream trailers.

Available for free in the iOS App Store and Google Play, the app reminds users when it is time for important tasks and makes manufacturer information about each unit quickly accessible. Users can customize notifications and build checklists for their next trip. Additionally, the app will provide access to Airstream’s Roadtrippers, the company’s road trip planning brand.

Airstream Care gives uses a single location to track to-do lists, automate contact with a preferred service center and set custom checklists for trip packing, arriving at a campground and preparing for the journey home.
