RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Airxcel RV Group Names Business Development Manager

154696357561904.jpgAirxcel Recreational Vehicles Group announces the promotion of Josh Miller to business development manager. Prior to this promotion, Miller was an outside sales representative for Vixen Composites, an Airxcel brand.

“Josh has made substantial contributions to our organization since joining in 2018,” says Troy Nussbaum, Airxcel vice president of OEM sales. “We are excited to build upon Josh’s proven record as a high performer and expand his focus across all Airxcel RV Group product lines.”

Miller was previously a global account manager of Wesco Distribution’s Structures Group. Prior to that, he was a senior account representative for the same company, where he was employed for 21 years. He is a communications graduate of DePauw University.
