RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVX Features Seminar on Building a Sales Team

154819568317374.pngMichael Rees, president of A World of Training, will conduct a seminar on “Building a World Class Sales Team” at RVX: The RV Experience.

Rees started selling cars full-time at age 18 in England. Moving to the U.S. at age 22, he became one of the youngest sales managers in the country, working all aspects of management. Moving back to England, he became a partner and dealer principal of a Mitsubishi and used car operation, taking it to number one in the nation. Returning to the U.S. in 2000, he has been dedicated to training others to succeed.

Rees has a comprehensive background in RV and automobile sales, management, training and overall dealership operations. His seminar is slated for Tuesday, March 12 from 9- 9:45 a.m. and on Wednesday, March 13 from 11-11:45 a.m. The seminar will focus on building a sales team, recruiting, training and retaining.
