The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

The RV Care Network promoted Derek Paterson to vice president of sales and marketing.
“Over the past six years, Derek has been the company’s business development manager and has shown a tremendous ability to grow our dealer network, introduce our proprietary brand of RV parts and accessories, called RV Traveler’s Choice, and was equally an integral part in launching our first exclusive branded travel trailer, Northern Spirit,” Don Sneyd, chairman of the network’s board of directors, says.
Sneyd says Paterson will continue to build the RV Care dealer network, implement multiple brand awareness strategies, strengthen the group’s premiere partner programs and continue to seek out new RV industry alliances.
“His 25-plus years in the retail training sector have proven to be a valuable asset for our company and for our RV Care Dealer Associate stores,” Sneyd says.
The RV Care Network is Canada’s largest RV dealer group with 74 dealerships across the country and a partner alliance with Priority RV Network in the U.S., representing another 124 dealer locations.
