TerryTown RV Superstore in Grand Rapids, Mich., plans a grand opening for its new indoor warehouse showroom on April 12.
The dealership says its new 70,000-square-foot facility will introduce a “revolutionary RV shopping experience” with a permanent year-round display of more than 80 luxury fifth wheels, toy haulers, motorhomes and travel trailers.
“Indoor display space is a big part of how we have done business,” says Matt Kortman, TerryTown’s director of media, purchasing and technology. “We have had the largest RV showroom in the Grand Rapids market. It’s been a way that we’ve made shopping easier."
Kortman says TerryTown keeps 800 to 1,000 units in stock. The new building is adjacent to the dealership’s existing facility. Terrytown purchased the new facility, which was formerly a warehouse for a grocery wholesaler, about a year ago and has been working ever since to convert it to an RV showroom.
Kortman says TerryTown’s market includes the entire region and having a large, heated indoor showroom give the dealership an advantage during Michigan’s cold winter months.
