All Seasons RV in Streetsboro, Ohio, teamed with Make-A-Wish OKI (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana) to grant four-year-old heart transplant recipient Alivia (pictured with her dad) of Magnolia, Ohio her dream wish – to have her own RV so she can spend more time with her family at a local campground that is close to where her dad works over the summer.
The special RV reveal happened on Wednesday, March 20, in All Seasons RV’s huge showroom in Streetsboro.
Alivia has experienced heart problems since birth, and at the age of 1, she was the recipient of a heart transplant. This surgical procedure is usually performed on patients with end-stage heart failure when all other treatments or surgeries have failed. Today, Alivia is full of energy, and takes her radiant smile with her everywhere she goes.
“The minute we heard about little Alivia’s wish we knew we had to get involved and make this important wish come true,” All Seasons RV owner Jennifer Radel says. “My father started All Seasons RV in 1973 because, as a family, we went camping and it drew us all closer to one another.
“Hearing that Alivia wanted an RV because she wants to spend more time with her family at a campground close to where her dad works struck a chord in all us here at All Seasons RV,” Radel says. “We worked for weeks with the RV manufacturer to get this family-friendly RV, complete with bunk beds and important amenities, that will accommodate all of Alivia’s needs and her four family members.”
