The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) will hold its Annual General Meeting on May 15 at Hotel 71 in Quebec City, Quebec
Joining CRVA will be representatives from the RVDA of Canada, the Canadian Camping and RV Council and Go RVing Canada to bring together the national associations representing the Canadian RV and Campground Industry.
“To symbolize that CRVA is a national association, we like to move our Annual General Meeting to a different location across Canada each year” CRVA Chairman Jeff McDermott says. “We are really looking forward to holding this year’s AGM in the historic area known as “Old” Quebec City and experience its unique charm and tradition to help celebrate the Province of Quebec’s tremendous contribution to the RV and Camping Industry in Canada”
The meeting’s agenda includes election of directors for 2019-2020.
