RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Florida, Alabama ARVC Anticipate Record Crowd

155560360546279.pngThe Florida and Alabama ARVC association expects record attendance at its upcoming trade show and conference set for May 7-9 in Orlando, Fla.

“This is expected to be possibly our largest trade show and most well attended conferences ever,” says Bobby Cornwell, Executive Director of the Florida and Alabama Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.

Cornwell says approximately 50 supplier vendors and upwards of 120 park owners, operators and industry professionals are expected to attend. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs Resort, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

“We are seeing more interest and participation from new developers, and those looking to build or invest in the Outdoor Hospitality Industry, then ever before,” Cornwell says.
