RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

NERVDA Plans Event for RV Women’s Alliance

154819570036052.pngThe New England RV Dealers Association will host a cocktail reception and networking event to introduce the RV Women’s Alliance to industry professionals throughout New England from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 6 at the new AC Hotel by Marriott in Worcester, Mass.

NERVDA welcomes men and women to the free event. To join the RV Women’s Alliance, go to www.rvwa.org.

A small block of rooms is available for those staying overnight. The hotel is holding a block of rooms at $159 per night. This rooms will be held in NERVDA’s name until the close of business on Friday, May 24.
