2019 RVIA Economic Impact Study

The new RVs Move America Economic Impact Study, released June 3, 2019 at the annual meeting of RVIA, revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supporting nearly 600,000 jobs, contributing more than $32 billion in wages, and paying more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

Travel Lite RV Hires New Vice President of Sales

155957313457853.jpgTravel Lite RV has hired Ryan Rebar as vice president of sales. With 19 years of experience in the industry, he plans to take the Indiana-based dealer to new levels.

Rebar started his career in the RV industry in 2001 as a national training manager for Fleetwood. He continued to develop his knowledge by working with manufacturers, such as Thor Motor Coach and Wildcat, before accepting his new position.

“As a former professional snowboarder and someone (who) grew up surfing, I have always been passionate about the outdoors,” Rebar says. “I want to sell coaches that I believe in and would want to enjoy with my own family.”

His ability to motivate his team, coupled with his consistency and work ethic made him the top candidate for the job, according to a press release from Travel Lite.

“We are excited that Ryan is on the team," ” Chief Executive Officer Dustin Johns says. "He brings energy, excitement, and a passion for quality that will help propel the brand forward."
