2019 RVIA Economic Impact Study

The new RVs Move America Economic Impact Study, released June 3, 2019 at the annual meeting of RVIA, revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supporting nearly 600,000 jobs, contributing more than $32 billion in wages, and paying more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

Jayco RV to be displayed at GoPro Mountain Games

154817489282879.pngJayco plans display an RV at this year’s GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colo. The annual celebration of adventure sports, art and music and is scheduled for June 6 to 9.

Jayco’s Eagle HT 264BHOK travel trailer won the family-friendly category during the reveal at the RVX trade show last March in Salt Lake City.

“The great, family-friendly events planned at the Mountain Games pairs perfectly with our award-winning, family-friendly Eagle 264BHOK travel trailer,” Chris Barth, senior director of product development, says. “With special emphasis on extra bike and kayak storage for families with active lifestyles, we’re excited to share one of Jayco’s newest innovative products.”

Go RVing, an Mountain Games sponsor, expects thousands of people to tour each RV displayed during the four-day event.

Jayco's 28-year-old Eagle brand offers various floorplans and features to suit different camping styles. While the couples-style layout remains popular, Eagle's bunkhouse designs set industry trends, according to Jayco.
