The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Pressure Systems International has hired four leaders to work on strengthening various aspects of its business.
Craig Smith will be leading marketing, efforts for the company’s commercial and recreational vehicle businesses, focusing on the technical aspects of branding, website development and PSI’s presence at trade shows and other industry events. Smith spent ten years as marketing and communications manager for a global undercarriage solutions provider before coming to PSI.
Steve Miller has been promoted to vice president of engineering. He’s worked for PSI since April 2018 as senior director of engineering. In his new position, he will lead product engineering activities, including commercial and recreational vehicle product development. His experience includes engineering leadership roles at various axle and suspensions suppliers.
Bear Musgrave has been promoted to business unit director for PSI.’s Truck System Technologies, a supplier of tire pressure monitoring systems RVs. In his new role, Musgrave will be leading growth initiatives in the OEM, dealer and end-user segments.He’s been with PSI since January 2018.
Ben Morgan has joined the company as an integration engineer. In his new role, he will focus on integrating PSI’s total tire solutions with open-platform systems for commercial vehicles.
