Coachmen RV has released a new Pursuit floorplan. The company, a division of Forest River, plans to offer it at an entry-level, Class A price point.
The goal was to build a cost-sensitive RV that did not sacrifice quality, functionality or look, Coachmen Class A General Manager Michael Kaiser said. The minimum advertised price for the RV is $72,999.
“We also wanted to create a motorhome that was worry free. This floor plan will allow campers to enjoy the destination as much as the journey,” he said. “It is perfect for Walmart Camping and the National parks since it’s under 30’.”
Designers of the new, non-slide motorhome focused on convenience instead of adding more gadgets like other manufacturers are doing, Kaiser said.
The Pursuit 27XPS features large windows, spacious storage compartments and a manual, drop-down bunk. It has a tow capacity of 7,000 pounds.
It’s now shipping to dealers across North America.
