RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

'Toy Story 4' RV Rolls into Elkhart

155993570035237.png“Toy Story 4”-themed RV is rolling into Elkhart, Indiana, bringing games, prizes and photo opportunities for fans. They can learn more about their favorite characters, such as Woody, Buzz, and Bo Peep and find about new characters coming to the big screen.

The event is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. on June 20 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame. The fully-wrapped RV will hit 20 cities, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Denver and Elkhart to promote the movie’s June 21 opening.

Go RVing is providing the RV as part of a marketing partnership with Disney and Pixar.
