2019 RVIA Economic Impact Study

RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

RVIA Asks for Input on RVs Move America Week

155128793944232.pngMore than 150 RVIA members took part in 176 meetings with federal policymakers on issues critical to the growth of the industry during this year’s RVs Move America Week earlier this month. Now, the association is asking those who attended the event in Washington, D.C. for feedback. To take the survey, click here here.

Those who haven’t asked members of Congress to support the issues industry leaders were lobbying for in D.C. can still use the RV Action Center to reach out to their representatives. The 2019 priorities included campground modernization and expansion, infrastructure improvements to support outdoor recreation the Travel Trailer and Camper Tax Parity Act.
