2019 RVIA Economic Impact Study

The new RVs Move America Economic Impact Study, released June 3, 2019 at the annual meeting of RVIA, revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supporting nearly 600,000 jobs, contributing more than $32 billion in wages, and paying more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

ObeCo and Northern Wholesale Supply Offer New RV Aftermarket Products

156054425435554.pngObeCo, the parent company of OrganizedObie, is working with Northern Wholesale Supply to bring a new line of net organizers and storage products for RVs to dealerships.

The company has been producing OEM parts since 1990. Now, the new partnership will allow ObeCo to expand aftermarket offerings to dealers in the Northern Wholesale Supply network.

“ObeCo offers unique storage solutions for the RV consumer and fits in well with our continued goal of bringing innovative and profitable products to the RV dealer,” Northern’s RV Division Manager John Perron said.

ObeCo recently moved into a 40,000-square-foot factory in Elkhart, Indiana.The company plans to have production of its new aftermarket lines in full swing by June 24.

“There isn’t an RV on the road today whose owners wouldn’t benefit from extra storage space, magnetic latches, and safety products we offer,” ObeCo President Jason Obendorf said. “We are confident our new lines will hit the ground running.”
