The election process for the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds Board of Directors has opened. Board members are expected to serve 3-year terms, beginning on Nov. 10.
Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events, is taking nominations for voting areas one and five until July 9. All nominations must be accompanied with the signatures of 15 voting members from the candidate’s area.
Nominees should have at least two years’ experience as an RV park or campground owner or operator. They should be the designated representative of a voting member campground or RV park in good standing with ARVC. Board members are expected to be able to come to meetings and the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo. They should also have their certificate or be enrolled in the Outdoor Hospitality Education Program.
