2019 RVIA Economic Impact Study

The new RVs Move America Economic Impact Study, released June 3, 2019 at the annual meeting of RVIA, revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supporting nearly 600,000 jobs, contributing more than $32 billion in wages, and paying more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

RVIA Opens Meetings Portal for Aftermarket Executive Conference

156147299325983.pngRVIA sent login and password information to Executive Conference attendees today to access the portal for scheduling meetings with other attendees.

The three-day event will take place in Denver on August 12 – 15 at the Embassy Suites Downtown Convention Center. Business executives from RV supplier, RV distributor, RV manufactured rep agencies and aftermarket service companies will converge on the hotel to have one-on-one private business meetings during the event.

Discussions in the meetings vary and often include: what new products will launch in distributor's parts/accessories catalogs the following year, parts/accessories delivery fill rates, parts pricing, and other opportunities to move product through the distribution channel to RV dealerships.

Prearranged meetings between attendees are facilitated by the conference's online portal. Attendees can log in and request meetings with other attendees on the portal. If both parties select each other for a meeting, the portal automatically schedules a meeting between the parties, placing the meeting on both attendee's schedules.

RVIA says the meetings request application will close on July 19, so companies have a limited time to request meetings and have the app automatically make the appointments. After the deadline, attendees will have to contact attendees and schedule appointments the old fashioned way, by phone or email.
