A new law, recently passed in Oregon, eliminates the RV Code Program and the state's regulation of RV manufacturing. RVs in Oregon will no longer be required to have an Oregon insignia in addition to the RVIA seal. The law also removes the requirement for park model RV manufacturers in the state of Oregon to use licensed plumbers and licensed electricians to make installations and repairs. The new law goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2020.
In this month's RVIA Driving Policy Webinar, members can tune in to hear RVIA Manager of Government Affairs Nick Rudowich and Senior Director of Standards Kent Perkins. The pair will explain what the new laws mean for companies doing business in Oregon.
In this 20-minute webinar, Rudowich will clarify the specifics of the new law and Perkins will detail what this means from a standards and inspections point of view. There will also be time for questions from webinar participants.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday, July 24 at 2 p.m. EDT. To register for the webinar, please click here. Registration is open until 1 p.m. on July 24. A link will be emailed to attendees on the day of the webinar.
