RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

RVIA: Legislative Bills of Interest Across the Country

156338024842748.jpgEach year the RVIA’s state government affairs team reviews nearly 2,000 state legislative bills to determine their potential to impact, positively or negatively, on the RV industry. So far this year, approximately 3,000 bills have come through its tracking system for review.

The report details updates on bills from last month’s report, and newly added bills to establish offices of outdoor recreation in certain states.

The report includes legislative information for the follow states: California, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, Oregon and Wisconsin.
