RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

Sales Rep Firm Strengthens Southeast Coverage

Assigned to cover Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Northern Florida, Wingo will also support existing RV dealer and direct customer sales and marketing efforts in Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina, a company release says.

Residing in Georgia, “Shalet brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Derema Group and we can’t wait to see how she’ll strengthen our Southeast territory,” Derema Group Southeast Regional Business Manager Kurt Forsman says.

Based in West Chester, Pa., Derema offers marine and RV representation with multichannel coverage throughout the U.S. and Canada, Forsman says.

The company’s current roster of RV companies represented include: Firman, Flowjet, Hughes Autoformers, LaSalle Bristol, Magma USA, RV Designer, Samlex America, SeaTeak, Starbrite, and Sureshade.
