Spartan Motors announces the appointment of Angela K. Freeman (pictured) to the company’s Board of Directors as an independent member. Her appointment includes the Spartan board's Human Resources and Compensation Committee.
Freeman is currently Chief Human Resources Officer at C.H. Robinson, a global third-party logistics company with annual revenues of more than $16 billion and 15,000 employees. She leads the company's talent strategies, including recruiting, compensation, learning and leadership development, employee communications, and diversity and inclusion. She also serves as the President of C.H. Robinson Foundation, the company's philanthropic affiliate.
Prior to joining C.H. Robinson in 1998, Freeman was with McDermott/O'Neill & Associates, a Boston-based public affairs firm. She holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of North Dakota.

"Her extensive background across a number of functions including the recruiting, talent development, and diversity functions will be particularly relevant as Spartan continues on its high growth journey.”
Headquartered in Charlotte, Mich., publicly held Spartan is a specialty vehicle manufacturer and assembler of commercial and retail vehicles including RVs.
