THOR Industries and Kampgrounds of America (KOA) jointly announced the Pick Up America campaign exceeded its original goal of 50 tons of trash picked up by 273 percent.

To keep the program’s momentum going, the two companies launched a Pick Up America Sweepstakes that enters participants for a chance to win a $2,500 Cruise America RV gift card, a $750 fuel gift car and a 5-year membership in Roadtrippers Plus.

Members of the public can enter the sweepstakes by registering a pledge to remove trash from public lands at Pick Up America.

Participants are encouraged to post their efforts on social media under the hashtag #PickUpAmerica and to follow @THORIndustries and @KampgroundsofAmerica on Instagram for additional sweepstakes entries.

“We have already surpassed our original trash pick-up pledge by over 75 tons,” said THOR Industries President and CEO Bob Martin. “As summer travelers continue enjoying their favorite outdoor activities, we hope these new incentives encourage people to continue preserving the beauty of our public lands

Sweepstakes entries are open until Sept. 10, according to the announcement.
