The RV Industry Association announces the roster of candidates for open seats on its Board of Directors in an election that begins Sept. 3.
The 22 candidates running for election to seven seats in the 2020-2022 term of RVIA’s Board of Directors is a record, the association says.
Election instructions will be emailed on Sept. 3, the first day of the voting period, by RVIA to official reps at member companies. Voting closes Sept. 29, RVIA says.
Elections are to fill board positions in the following categories:
• Three supplier representatives
• Two manufacturer representatives
• One park model manufacturer representative
• One at-large representative
RVIA’s Board of Directors is “the highest level of authority in the association's overall organizational structure,” the association says. It is responsible for “setting and overseeing strategy and policy for critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, trade shows, industry education and association finances.”
Election winners will be announced in October. Winning candidates are expected to attend the next RVIA board meeting for transition and orientation training on Nov. 12. The meeting takes place during the RV Dealers Association's Convention and Expo in Las Vegas.
Member companies are allowed one vote per company. Official company reps must cast their votes by 5:00 p.m. ET, on Sunday, Sept. 29.
