The Affinity Group may be coming back for more of your profits
Recent departures of
most of Camping World’s executives, including president Tad Donnely,
along with Affinity’s top banana Steve Adams’ investment in REC
USA, sends up a warning flag to RV News.
You all recall, of course, that Affinity
always denied that they would ever get into selling rolling stock,
only to acquire a dealership and roll the stock into a Texas Camping
World store.
This time they may want to relieve dealers of
the awful task of operating a parts and accessory store and service
center.
Are dealers going to turn the cheek again?
REDEX
Dealers split $170,000
Think that dealer buying groups don’t work? Think again.
REDEX is a group of nationwide dealers whose 74 dealerships account
for more than $1.3 billion a year in sales-almost 15% of the entire RV
retail business. This adds up to substantial clout when it comes to
negotiating with vendors.

Lead management, or barely managing
leads?
RV News Editor Bob
Zagami has first hand experience when it comes to handling or
mishandling leads generated through the Go RVing campaign. Last
December Bob went to the Go RVing web site and signed up for the free
video. This put him in the Go RVing lead database. Bob was in the
market for a new rig, and completed the questionnaire honest y as any
potential buyer would. You’re really going to
want to read about his experience. It will certainly give you some
insight into lead management.
