Tundra's New Line of
Refrigerators and Freezers
Taylor Made Environmental has introduced a
new family of refrigerators and freezers for RVs, trucks and other vehicles. The product
line, which is marketed under the Tundra brand name, includes a wide selection of portable
top-loading and built-in refrigerators, freezers and combination units. They are being
offered to OEMs and are being sold to the aftermarket through select dealers.
Interior volumes range from 0.9 to 5.8 cu. ft. All of the
products use environmentally friendly R134A refrigerant, and all are built with quiet,
Danfoss compressors. The unique Tundra design utilizes a dynamic condensing system that
circulates air across the condenser, providing more efficient heat transfer, according to
the manufacturer. The exterior is steel with a durable protective coating. The inside is
high-impact polystyrene, which provides low maintenance and easy cleaning, with a generous
layer of urethane insulation. Built-in protections include a high-temperature cutout at
125°F, and a low-voltage cutout to safeguard the vehicle's batteries.
Standard models run on 12 or 24 volts with automatic
selection, providing excellent cooling and freezing efficiency with no energy loss to
transformers. An optional power conversion kit is available for 115 or 230 volt
applications.

Hidden Hitch Introduces New Fifth Wheel Hitch
Hidden Hitch of America has
introduced an 18,000-pound towing capacity 5th wheel hitch - the strongest available in
its price class, according to the company.
The new product features a four-way pivot system, side
pivot lock-out and meets ISO commercial 5th wheel industry safety requirements. The
innovative design features an all-new puzzle lock jaw system. Engineered with fewer
moving parts, the jaw system stays locked under full load, even with the safety lock
disengaged. Its positive locking mechanism automatically closes the jaws around the king
pin.
The 5th wheel hitch offers a full five inches of height
adjustment to clear high box sides and to accommodate low trucks with tall trailers. It
has an epoxy powder coat for superior weather resistance.
The Hidden Hitch 18,000-pound 5th wheel system comes

ABS Cable from Del

Del City's lime green ABS cable contains an 8 gauge ground, a 10 gauge stop light,
and a 10 gauge auxiliary wire to insure constant power to anti-lock braking systems.
Continuous power to the system guarantees better performance of the ABS system during
normal and emergency braking conditions.
The stranded copper single conductors are color coded for
easy identification and the lime green polyvinyl-chloride outer jacket provides immediate
