Art Frederickson has been promoted to national sales manager for
DTI RV Parts & Appliances, and will relocate to the company's IN headquarters.
Frederickson served as sales representative at the firm's FL facility prior to is new
assignment. |
| Daryl Yoder, a 27 year
veteran of the RV industry has been appointed to the position of purchasing/marketing
manager at DTI, and Scott Swinehart has been named human resource manager at
the firm. |
| Jerry McIntyre has been named
general manager at the London, Ontario branch of DTI, North America's largest RV parts
distributor. |
| Rob Casey has
been appointed general manager of Holiday RV Superstores' Tampa location. He previously
served as service manager, assistant general manager and business manager at other RV
dealerships, and most recently served as business manager for Holiday's Tampa location. |
| Kathy Huffman has joined
Jayco as advertising and promotion manager. In her new position she will advise the
company on a wide range of marketing matters, coordinate communications and develop
promotions for Jayco and its 300-plus dealer network. Prior to joining Jayco, Huffman was
advertising and marketing coordinator for Gulf Stream Coach/Fairmont Homes, and helped
manage Holiday Rambler's account at an ad agency in Elkhart. She is a member of the Sales
and Advertising Executive Club of St. Joe Valley. |
| Charles R. Kasper has been
named vice president of sales and marketing at Grote Industries. He will develop and
implement strategic sales and marketing plans for all product lines sold domestically and
internationally. Kasper, a 31-year employee of Grote, most recently held the position of
general manager of international sales. |
| Dan Berger has been promoted
to the position of director of marketing at Coachmen Industries. He previously served as
marketing manager. In his new position Berger will be responsible for product research and
development, sales promotion, customer satisfaction measurement, and product positioning
for all of the Coachmen Industries companies. |

L. Giles has been named national RV and marine products manager, a newly created
position, at Banc One Credit Co. Giles brings 12 years of sales and finance experience at
the CIT Group, where he held a series of positions, most recently as RV product manager,
to his new position. Giles will focus on growing Banc One's RV and marine volume and
enhancing existing as well as developing new products. |
| Ron Cheney and Leslie
McDonald have been named vice presidents at Wheeler Advertising. Cheney, who
directs the creative department, has been with the company over 5 years and has an
extensive background in writing and producing radio and TV ads. McDonald, who heads the
media department, is recognized in the RV, marine and automotive industries for her
expertise in media planning. |
| Gary Rademaker has joined The
CIT Group as retail business development manager. In this capacity, he will be responsible
for developing new lending relationships in the RV industry in the southeastern U.S.
Rademaker was most recently national sales director at Priority One Financial Services. |
| Tim Ford has been appointed
president of J.C. Whitney & Co., the world's largest direct marketer of automotive
parts and accessories. As president he will oversee the firm's continued expansion of its
catalog offerings (over 55,000 items with 4.2 million applications) and its presence on
the Internet. |

| Robert L. Gossett was elected
vice president of administration at Winnebago. He will be responsible for the functions
within the human resources department. |
| Gary Gernetzke has been
appointed commercial and specialty vehicle sales manager. In addition he is responsible
for the sales of Winnebago motor homes internationally. |
| Joleen Midtgaard has been
named a marketing specialist. She will assist in the development of pro-duct brochures and
merchandising materials, and will administer Winnebago's Circle of Excellence program. |

| Kelli Harms has been appointed
to the position of public relations representative. Harms will assist with news re-lease
preparation and distribution, media relations, community relations and investor relations. |
| Dennis Burkholder has been
named editor of WIT Club News, the monthly magazine published for members of the
Winnebago/Itasca Travelers Club. |
| Jeff Oulman has been named
district sales manager. In his new position Oulman will be responsible for sales of
Winnebago, Rialta, Vectra and Ultimate motor homes, as well as dealer development and
training for dealers in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado and Montana. |
David Murphy has been
appointed styling and concept manager at Winnebago. In his new position, Murphy will be
responsible for interior and exterior styling of Winnebago's motor homes, as well as
concept development and new product research. |
| Larry Todey has been named
plant manager at Winnebago. He will manage the new Charles City, Iowa chassis and hardwood
operations. A 15-year veteran of Winnebago, Todey has previously held positions within the
company as a manufacturing engineering supervisor, engineer, and engineering technician. |
| Jeremy Rogstad has joined
Winnebago as district sales manager trainee. In his new position, he will be responsible
for organizing sales events, assisting with the promotion of Winnebago products at shows
and preparing market studies. |
| John E. Johnson has been named
senior vice president at Foremost Insurance Co. Johnson will oversee the company's market
management division, which handles the development, pricing, promotion and marketing
strategy of their RV, mobile home, and dwelling fire insurance products. |
Cecil Pegram has been named
salesman of the year and is the 1998 top North American licensing representative for
Kampgrounds of America. To achieve this honor, Pegram was consistently on top of every
aspect of each campground sale, developed leads with existing and prospective campground
owners and developed new opportunities within a market area. |
| Starcraft RV has announced the promotion of Richard
D. Kelly to senior vice president of sales and marketing and member of Starcraft's
executive committee. Kelly has been with Starcraft for 10 years and has worked through the
ranks as regional sales manager, director of dealer development, and vice president of
marketing. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Michigan Assoc. of RVs and
Campgrounds. |
| Larry Weaver has been named
vice president of Starlite sales and marketing and assumes responsibility for North
America sales of Starcraft's light weight series of travel trailers and fifth wheels. |

Joining Weaver's staff, as regional sales
managers, are Steve Cowen and Arthur Kalb. Cowen, a 17-year
industry veteran, is responsible for sales to the western United States. Kalb, most
recently a Starcraft sales coordinator, will oversee sales for the eastern states. |
