Stromberg Carlson is introducing their new No Rust
Louvered Tailgate for fifth wheel applications. The blow-molded plastic gate and
its aluminum structure will guarantee years of no maintenance. The lightweight
materials give a finished part weight of 25 lbs., which is half of traditional steel
tailgates. The lighter weight makes installation easier and creates less damage in
shipping. A unique center pull has been designed into the No Rust Louvered Tailgate for easy operation. The black finish is molded completely
through the tailgate. It cannot be painted, but it will not rust as competitive products
eventually will.
A total of 5 part numbers have been tooled to guarantee a
custom fit to each model truck. The No Rust Louvered Tailgate carries a suggested retail
price of $199, and will be available to wholesale distributors next month.

StowAway®2 Cargo Carrier
With Swingaway Frame
Ironwood Pacific's StowAway 2 for RVs, SUVs
and vans is now available with a swingaway frame model. By fitting directly into the
vehicle's rear receiver hitch, the StowAway 2 offers far better accessibility than rooftop
racks, while avoiding the wind drag associated with rooftop designs. The new Swingaway
model also offers clear access to the vehicle's rear storage, by pivoting out away from
the vehicle. The box dimensions are 49" long by 21" wide by 24" high - 12
cubic feet of extra storage for golf clubs, tents, camp stoves, coolers and sleeping bags.
Roto-molded from an impact resistant UV stabilized polymer, the StowAway 2 features full
function 4-way taillights and a secure locking mechanism complete with two keys. The frame
is based on a patented design that raises the box approximately 6" up from the rear
receiver hitch while keeping it close to the vehicle. The frames are welded with a black
powder coat finish. Four frame models are offered, including Standard, Towing, Spare Tire,
and Swingaway. They range in price from $439 to $539 suggested retail, and are sold dealer
direct.
