37th Annual National RV
As the RV industry prepares to make it's annual trek to Louisville for the 37th Annual National RV Trade Show, the event takes on new significance because it's the last major industry event of the year, but more importantly it will set the stage for business in a new millennium. Business is good for nearly every industry segment which is the ideal way to bring a close to this century and move into the 21st Century. The show will be November 30 through December 2, 1999. As usual, RVIA has put a lot of effort into creating an environment that will help stimulate buying and selling, viewing the latest innovations from RV manufacturers and seeing what new technologies are available for add-ons and new opportunities for aftermarket stores. Occupying a record 700,000-plus square feet of exhibits this year's event at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center (KFEC) Louisville, KY will host 86 RV manufacturer and over 300 supplier exhibitors. It is expected to draw more than 10,000 RV industry officials and dealers.
RVIA's traditional all-industry Outlook 2000 breakfast kicks off the show November 30 in a new location this year due to KFEC exhibit space expansion -- the Executive West Hotel's Mary Queen of Scots Ballroom. Humphreys. Outlook 2000 will feature the debut of the Go RVing advertisements for the national campaign's $40 million second phase, slated to kick off in January 2000 and run through 2002. Go RVing Coalition chairman Tom Faludy and RVIA vice president of Public Relations and Advertising Gary LaBella will present the new ads and detail the campaign's extensive media plan. They will also review the success of Phase I and discuss how its performance set the stage for the expanded Phase II effort.
