Your SOLD inventory is more powerful than you think! An opportunity for the search engines to find you NOT ONLY for your franchised brands but for YOUR COMPETITIONS!
It's time to rethink how you are managing your SOLD inventory.
First, when creating your inventory details for the unit, create a dynamic description that names the year, manufacturer, brand and floor plan. Elaborate and feed the engines with all the coolness they are looking for ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT SELL THAT BRAND! If you create enough noise about the brands you don't sell the engines will notice you, and this is the way to do it!
This method is creating your footprint for search results...and allows you to show up for brands you DO NOT SELL!
When the unit is SOLD, DO NOT DELETE IT! If you are not a CellTuck client, get with your provider and REQUEST that they archive your SOLD INVENTORY! They need to hide it from the consumer and admin sides of your website, but still allow it to surface organically as a result on a living page in the eyes of the engines.
Since we started archiving SOLD INVENTORY some years ago, we have more than 126,000 SOLD UNITS stored for our client base. These units are lingering and waiting to be found! Brands they sell, brands they don't sell. It's all there. Google loves them and our clients continue to show up organically!
As a CellTuck client, when you mark your inventory SOLD, our software will keep it hanging around for a few days as SOLD and then hide it from site on both the consumer side and the back end admin side to avoid clutter...BUT...when searched you'll come up as an organic result.
Your visitor will land on the living page for that unit. It will clearly be marked SOLD, but you have their attention! They can now search your current website and see all the offers you have on your lot!
