McKay Allen, vice president of marketing for Kenect will host a pair of workshops at the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

Allen’s first workshop is geared toward an RV dealership’s fixed ops department. The second education session will discuss Google Reviews.

The convention/expo will take place Nov. 8-12, 2021, at Paris Las Vegas.

“How to Navigate a Historic Opportunity in Your Service Department,” Allen’s first session, will take place from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Nov. 10. Allen will discuss ways to increase revenue in a dealership’s fixed ops department, how to make the experience easy and convenient for customers and how to streamline parts and service processes.

The session will teach attendees:

  • How to keep customers informed on service and parts.
  • Specific ways to expedite customer response time.
  • Methods to collect touchless payments and save on transaction fees.

In the digital marketing education track, Allen will present “What to Do When You Get a Negative Google Review” from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 11. Research shows 93% of consumers choose a business based on reviews. In the workshop, Allen will teach attendees what they should do about negative reviews and, more importantly, what not to do when they get one.

The RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide a variety of workshops and networking events that will aid dealers in building on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel.
