The average wholesale selling price for motorized RV units was up from the previous month. The average wholesale selling price for towables also went up according to this month’s Black Book Report.

New unit shipments fell below last year’s totals for the fourth consecutive month indicating that dealers’ lots are full and normal seasonal patterns are returning, said Eric Lawrence, Black Book principal analyst, specialty markets.

The average selling price of all motorhome classes was up 7.3% from the previous month increasing from $74,069 to $79,135. One year ago, the average selling price was $74,990.

“The average sales prices for motor homes and towables sold at wholesale auctions rose last month, while auction volume continued to increase towards more typical levels,” Lawrence said.

The average selling price for towables went up 3.3% from the previous month. The average selling price was $21,217, up $685 from the previous month.
